The Opportunity
This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives on bringing order to complexity. As an Account Manager, you'll be the trusted day-to-day partner for high-net-worth clients—coordinating their financial lives, anticipating needs, and working alongside a collaborative team that takes real pride in the work they do. You'll serve as the central hub for a client's financial world, working with CPAs, attorneys, advisors, and insurance partners to keep everything accurate, organized, and moving forward. If you bring sound judgment, discretion, and a high-service mindset grounded in integrity, this role was built for you.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, providing high-touch service and proactive communication; translate requests into clear next steps and coordinate execution across internal teams and external advisors
- Own the client service workflow end-to-end—intake, prioritization, tracking, and closure- maintaining visibility to open items and ensuring deadlines and service standards are met
- Support cash management activities, including reviewing bank balances, preparing and processing transfers and wires, and maintaining appropriate documentation
- Coordinate insurance administration (renewals, policy changes, and claims) in partnership with brokers and advisors; track timelines and ensure accurate, complete records
- Lead new client onboarding and account setup, including opening bank accounts and establishing required documentation, access, and internal workflows
- Support major personal and asset purchases (homes, vehicles) by coordinating documentation, funding logistics, and communications with lenders and agents
- Assist with financial transactions and reporting, including 1099 administration and coordination of annual/quarterly filings with accounting and tax providers
- Contribute to process improvements and special projects; bring a solutions-oriented mindset and willingness to support the team where priorities require
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field strongly preferred
- 4+ years of experience in business management and/or a family office environment, supporting high-touch client service and time-sensitive deliverables
- 3+ years in a client service role requiring proactive communication, organization, and consistent follow-through
- Working knowledge of core accounting and finance operations, including general ledger fundamentals, AP/AR, payroll coordination, bank reconciliations, insurance administration, and financial statements
- Experience with AgilLink preferred
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfort working across accounting systems, client portals, and databases; able to learn new tools quickly
- Ability to provide clear direction and support to teammates (delegating, managing, and training) while maintaining accountability for outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to manage a high volume of work with strong prioritization, adaptability, and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong interpersonal judgment, and professional discretion; effective time management, active listening, and critical thinking
