About the Role
We are looking for a Robotics Software Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on robotics software systems, autonomous technologies, and intelligent automation.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to robotics programming, motion planning, sensor integration, simulation, control systems, and autonomous decision-making, helping improve how AI models understand and generate production-quality robotics software solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the technical accuracy, reliability, and scalability of AI-generated robotics solutions. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for robotics automation, intelligent systems engineering, and autonomous applications.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including robotics workflows, software architectures, and automation strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated responses related to robotics software engineering and autonomous systems
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world robotics software and automation challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI outputs for correctness, scalability, system performance, and hardware-software integration reliability
- Identify bugs, inefficient implementations, incorrect assumptions, or safety concerns in AI-generated robotics solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on robotics software, automation, and intelligent systems
Requirements
- Background in Robotics, Computer Science, Mechatronics, Electronics, or a related field
- Strong understanding of robotics software systems, control theory, sensors, and autonomous technologies
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++
- Familiarity with ROS (Robot Operating System), simulation environments, and robotics development workflows is preferred
- Experience with motion planning, computer vision, embedded systems, or AI/ML concepts is a plus
- Ability to critically evaluate robotics architectures, software quality, and engineering solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
