This role is full-time and on-site, embedded with one of our clients: a global technology company with a massive infrastructure footprint.

Overview

You'll sit on the client's infrastructure team in a hybrid role building AI platform and agentic applications, and deploying the infrastructure that runs it.

This is a research-heavy role. The team is operating at the edge of what's possible with current AI tooling, which means a lot of the work doesn't have a clean reference architecture to copy from. You'll be reading papers, prototyping against techniques that didn't exist six months ago, throwing away things that don't pan out, and turning what works into production systems. If you like ambiguity because it means you get to learn - new frameworks, new patterns, new corners of the stack - this is the right environment for you. If you want a backlog of well-defined tickets, it isn't.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate the platform that hosts the AI workloads: gateways, retrieval stores, ingestion, deployment plumbing.
• Own the IaC, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines that ship both the network footprint and the ML workloads on top of it.
• Design RAG applications end-to-end and implement agentic workflows with LangGraph and LangChain.
• Build the evaluation harness that lets the team ship changes with confidence rather than vibes.
• Investigate emerging techniques - new retrieval methods, agent architectures, eval approaches - and figure out which ones are worth bringing into production.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS in CS, EE, or related with 5+ years of experience; MS with 2+; or a PhD.
• Hands-on experience deploying infrastructure with Azure, AWS, GCP, or similar.
• Strong Python work experience for production-grade AI applications
• Has actually shipped a RAG or agentic system. LangGraph, LangChain, or close equivalent.
• Thrives in ambiguity. You can take a vague problem, scope it, sequence the work, and finish it without someone over your shoulder - and you treat the lack of a clear answer as the interesting part of the job, not the frustrating part.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Terraform or Bicep, Kubernetes, and CI/CD for both infra and ML.
• Telecom experience: mobile operators, RAN/core, 4G/5G, OEM network equipment.
• Experience designing systems under strict security and compliance constraints.
• LLM observability: tracing, evals-as-CI, cost and latency monitoring.
