Job Description

  • Facilitate the team in handling Shopee’s Cross Border e-commerce activities, including business development, operations, business intelligence, marketing, payment, warehouse and logistics. Provide corresponding product solution / support for features and live issues
  • Responsible for overseeing the whole product cycle (planning, researching, designing, developing, and implementing) of Cross Border Ecommerce products. Apply agile methodology, conduct data analysis and prioritise requirements accordingly
  • Engage internal and external stakeholders, build up domain expertise to understand business requirements and identify strategic opportunities
  • Focus on centralising all product-related requests from all fronts of Cross Border departments and putting them into well-written business requirement documents (BRD)
  • Coordinate with other PMs and locals to ensure proper product design can fulfil Cross Border business needs. Prepare and conduct necessary testings
  • Manage feature rollout closely with business with training, deployment planning, day-to-day support, feedback gathering, etc.
  • Ensure live issues are handled properly and timely. Drive solution and enhancement to reduce systematic issues and improve user experience

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering, Computer Science or a related technical field with system knowledge
  • Experience in product design or project management. Experience in system design / architecture or restful API design / implementation would be an advantage
  • Strong in logic, critical thinking and problem solving skills. Proven ability to handle complex system requests
  • Good understanding of eCommerce markets, competition and customers or Cross Border business
  • Strong ownership, with a self-starter mindset, and willingness to learn
  • Adaptable, open minded and comfortable working in a dynamic environment
  • Proven track record in managing multiple projects and deliver on time
  • Effectively communicate complex business/technical information with different audiences verbally or in writing
  • Team player, able to work effectively with people at all levels in an organisation
