Summary of position:
The Marketing Manager will be responsible for developing and executing Bayport Funding’s overall marketing strategy and overseeing day-to-day marketing initiatives. This role will lead marketing efforts with the goal of driving loan volume, increasing brand awareness, and supporting sales growth across investor-focused lending products. The position blends strategic planning with hands-on execution across digital marketing, content, events, paid media, and lead generation.
The ideal candidate has experience in financial services, real estate, or B2B marketing and thrives in a performance-driven environment. This role will be in office X days per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy & Collaboration: Develop and execute integrated marketing strategies aligned with business goals; manage the annual/quarterly marketing calendar and partner closely with sales, leadership, and external partners.
- Lead Generation: Drive high-quality lead acquisition from real estate investors, brokers, and developers through optimized inbound and outbound channels that support pipeline growth.
- Content & Digital Marketing: Oversee content creation (case studies, thought leadership, email, social), manage agencies and freelancers, and execute a branded social media strategy that generates qualified leads.
- Sales Enablement: Equip loan officers and originators with effective collateral, insights, and campaign support to improve conversion rates.
- Brand & Positioning: Build and maintain a consistent brand identity and clearly differentiate Bayport Funding from traditional banks and competing lenders.
- Events & Campaign Execution: Lead conference and event marketing and manage multi-channel campaigns including email, paid media, digital, PR, OOH, and event support.
- Performance & Optimization: Track and report on marketing performance (ROI, conversion, CAC) and use insights to optimize future campaigns.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 4+ years of marketing experience, preferably in financial services, real estate, lending, or B2B environments.
- Experience driving lead generation initiatives.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, paid media, CRM systems, and marketing analytics.
- Experience supporting sales teams with enablement tools and campaigns.
- Excellent communication, project management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
