Data Scientist (m/f/d)

As a Data Scientist / Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) you are responsible for scientific approaches within real-world business innovation to generate insights and product improvements, centering around recommender systems

.You decide where you work: Germany-wide from your home office, at one of our locations in Constance or Munich or a hybrid mix.


WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

As Data Scientist at coliquio, you are responsible for scientific approaches to generate insights, improvements and product innovation. Here, you are at the interface between (raw) data and business strategy. You are focal to identify, define and implement innovative Data Science projects to evolve recommender systems, support business strategy with experiments (in campaigns or product development), ML/AI approaches to experiments to drive engagement of users. You are working in an integrated team of a highly motivated experts covering everything Data from Data Engineering and Data Architecture to Data Analytics and Business Analytics. You are driving projects from PoC to production and support ongoing (gen)AI enablement and -adoption of the company.



WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TABLE

  • Minimum of 2-5 years of working as Data Scientist or ML Engineer with expert knowledge of recommender systems, preferably in context of online platforms, marketplaces / e-commerce or content marketing.
  • Excellent knowledge and provable success in using python (e.g. Pandas, NumPy or SciKit-learn) to work on data.
  • Solid Experience using Machine Learning Frameworks (e.g. Tensorflow, PyTorch or XGBoost) to create models and train them to use cases. Knowledge of collaborative or content-based filtering including libraries Lightfm, Surprise, or Tensorflow-based recommenders.
  • Foundational Data Engineering skills, especially SQL. Knowledge in docker-based cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Foundational Software Engineering methodology and experience to build products is a plus.
  • You bring a customer-first mindset and pragmatical mindset and enjoy working in a team of experts and with changing peers in product as well as breaking down complex topic clusters into relevant actionable Data Science building blocks.
