A high-growth, venture-backed consumer technology platform is looking for a hands-on, data-driven Data Scientist to help scale the next phase of its product and business.

The platform aggregates millions of listings globally, using advanced data and machine learning to deliver highly relevant results to users. Backed by experienced operators, the company has achieved rapid growth and significant transaction volume in a short period.

The Role

You’ll take ownership of end-to-end machine learning initiatives, from development through to production. This is a highly impactful role where your models will directly influence both customer experience and revenue outcomes.

Key areas include:

• Improving search and ranking models
• Building predictive models (e.g., cancellations, pricing outcomes)
• Optimizing content selection (images, reviews, personalization)
• Running experiments & A/B tests to validate impact
• Partnering closely with engineering to deploy models at scale

This role suits someone who blends strong technical depth with commercial awareness—you know that great models only matter if they drive measurable results.

What They’re Looking For

• 5+ years in Data Science / Machine Learning
• Strong Python + ML libraries expertise
• Experience owning the full ML lifecycle (ETL → deployment)
• Solid grounding in statistics & experimentation
• Experience working with large datasets (SQL, cloud environments)
• Ability to communicate insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Nice to have:

• Experience with modern ML infrastructure / MLOps
• Exposure to marketplace or high-volume consumer platforms
