What You’ll Do

• Scalable Architecture: Design, develop, and operate scalable services that enable other teams to build efficiently. Own small to medium features end-to-end, from design to deployment.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with teams to deliver integrations and improve system interoperability.
• Full Stack Development: * Use Java and GraphQL to design APIs and build backend applications to power advanced advertising platforms.
• Use JavaScript and React to design and build frontend applications leveraged by a wide variety of stakeholders.
• Real-time Data: Utilize Kafka, Aerospike, and Elasticsearch to build a real-time data pipeline as the backbone for the entire Advertising team.
• Reliability & Support: Participate in on-call rotations and production support to troubleshoot system issues during peak promotional events.
• Monitoring: Ensure high platform health visibility using DataDog and Grafana.
• Quality Assurance: Provide high-quality code reviews and technical design feedback.
• Business Insight: Apply e-commerce business knowledge to convert product requirements into robust technical solutions.

We Are a Match Because You Have

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, with a strong focus on full-stack or backend systems.
• Strong Fundamentals: Deep understanding of algorithms, data structures, and system design.
• Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with Java (or similar languages) in production environments.
• Cloud & DevOps: Familiarity with cloud-native systems, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Soft Skills: Excellent communication and the ability to collaborate effectively across distributed teams.
