Rollic is an Istanbul-based game developer and publisher.

Founded in 2019 and acquired in October 2020 by Zynga, who joined the Take-Two roof as of May 2022.

Rollic has over 3.5 billion downloads across its diverse portfolio of games and, thanks to an intensive development process utilizing a massive test pipeline, has a steady cadence of globally hit titles such as Color Block Jam, Timeline Up, Crowd Express: Boarding Puzzle, Hole People, Knit Out, all of which have gained millions of downloads worldwide within a few months after their release.

Main Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain core game systems and features using Unity and C#
• Take ownership of technical architecture, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Game Artists, Data Analysts, and Monetization teams to bring features to life
• Work within and improve existing codebases, enhancing stability, performance, and extensibility
• Optimize game performance with a strong focus on memory usage, frame rate stability, and load times
• Support live operations by implementing improvements, debugging issues, and maintaining game health
• Contribute to rapid prototyping and iterative feature development based on data and feedback
• Mentor other developers, share best practices, and elevate overall code quality
• Ensure timely delivery of high-quality, production-ready features

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with Unity, including strong C# skills
• Solid understanding of Unity systems (UI, animation, particle systems, etc.)
• Experience working on live mobile games, preferably in casual or hybrid-casual genres
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve technical and workflow issues
• Experience optimizing performance
• Familiarity with the full game development lifecycle and production processes
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset
• Good sense of gameplay feel and attention to detail
