Investment Analyst

RETS Associates on behalf of our client, a privately owned real estate investor operator, is seeking an Investment Analyst in San Francisco, CA. The Analyst provides analytic and transaction support to the Investment and Asset Management Group members in the areas of property acquisitions, capital raising, asset management, hold/sell analyses, property dispositions, and financings. The Analyst will work with senior management to make financial and strategic decisions at a premier real estate operator, investor, developer, and owner of office buildings and other commercial properties. The Analyst will build a strong foundation in underwriting, transaction execution, asset management, and business development.

Requirements:

• Bachelor degree with a proven track record of academic achievement. Degrees with concentration in Finance, Accounting and/or Economics a plus.
• 0 - 3 years of experience within a real estate investment, development, lending, brokerage firm, or real estate investment banking required. Entry level candidates with strong CRE internship experience will be considered.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with valuation concepts including discounted cash flow, internal rate of return, levered returns vs unlevered returns.
• ARGUS experience highly preferred.

Compensation: $100k+ DOE plus bonus
