We’re partnering with a fast-growing Australian technology company building a suite of digital products used by thousands of users across both in-studio and at-home experiences.

With significant product growth underway, the engineering team is expanding and looking for a strong Full Stack Engineer to help build, scale and evolve a modern platform spanning web, mobile and cloud infrastructure. This is a highly hands-on role where you’ll have genuine influence over product direction, technical decisions and the future evolution of the platform.

We have two roles available and they can suit either:

• A strong Full Stack Engineer with modern JavaScript/TypeScript experience, or
• A Full Stack Engineer who also brings deeper DevOps / infrastructure capability across AWS, Docker and Kubernetes.

The environment is highly collaborative, product-focused and hands-on, with engineers encouraged to contribute ideas, take ownership and help shape technical direction.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Building and maintaining modern frontend and backend applications
• Developing APIs and scalable backend services
• Working across React / Next.js frontend environments
• Supporting and improving existing PHP systems and integrations
• Writing clean, maintainable and well-tested code
• Collaborating with product, mobile and engineering teams
• Helping improve system performance, reliability and scalability

For engineers with stronger DevOps capability, the role can also involve:

• CI/CD pipeline development
• Cloud infrastructure automation
• AWS, Docker & Kubernetes environments
• Monitoring, observability and production reliability
• Infrastructure-as-code and deployment optimisation

What They’re Looking For

• 3+ years commercial software engineering experience
• Strong experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Commercial React.js experience (Next.js is also highly regarded)
• Good understanding of APIs, backend architecture and SQL databases
• Commercial PHP experience — this is important for the environment
• Experience with Git-based workflows and testing practices
• Strong problem-solving ability and ownership mindset
• CI/CD pipeline experience
• React Native exposure (bonus)

Only required for the Full Stack DevOps role:

• AWS experience
• Docker / Kubernetes exposure
• Infrastructure-as-code experience
