Product Manager, Marketplace & Lifecycle
Indexed description
The Marketplace team at Truemed owns the full consumer growth loop — from the moment a user lands on truemed.com through their first purchase and every interaction after. As Growth PM, you will be Truemed's dedicated growth lead: the same function that our best merchant partners (Eight Sleep, Momentous, Peloton) invest in heavily to compound their consumer businesses. You'll own the shopping experience, lifecycle marketing infrastructure, personalized health journey features, and the experimentation roadmap that moves LTV and transactions-per-user. You'll work hand-in-hand with marketing as a co-owner of growth metrics — this is a product-marketing partnership role as much as a traditional PM role.
We are looking for a growth PM who has built and scaled consumer growth loops before. You understand acquisition funnels, activation mechanics, and what it takes to turn a one-time purchaser into a loyal user. You know how to treat email and lifecycle touchpoints as product surfaces, not just marketing tools. You thrive running experiments at pace, partnering with marketers as peers, and making Truemed a place users keep coming back to.
What you will do
- Drive Truemed's growth strategy end to end: develop and execute on user acquisition, activation, and retention across the truemed.com marketplace, including browsing, discovery, personalized recommendations, and the logged-in health journey
- Build and iterate on lifecycle marketing infrastructure -- own the product side of email, push, and re-engagement flows in close partnership with marketing (segmentation, triggers, Klaviyo integration, transactional messaging)
- Run a rapid experimentation roadmap: develop hypotheses, run A/B tests, analyze results, and continuously improve activation rates, conversion funnels, and engagement loops
- Explore and build for emerging discovery channels -- LLM-driven search, AI answer engines, and agentic shopping -- ensuring Truemed content and experiences are optimized for visibility in AI-powered ecosystems
- Prototype rapidly using tools like Cursor and Bolt to fast-forward ideas into testable product surfaces and production-ready experiments
- Collaborate across engineering, design, data science, marketing, and ops to execute high-impact growth initiatives and align on the product infrastructure that drives and converts traffic
- Growth PM experience: 4-6 years driving substantial user growth in a B2C, prosumer, or consumer marketplace product. You've owned a growth loop end-to-end -- acquisition through retention -- and can show the results.
- Lifecycle as product: You treat email, push, and re-engagement as product surfaces, not marketing output. You have a point of view on segmentation, trigger logic, and what makes a lifecycle program actually retain users (Klaviyo, Braze, or Iterable experience a plus).
- Experimentation rigor: You build and run A/B tests with discipline -- hypothesis, instrumentation, statistical significance, clear scale vs. kill decisions. Comfortable in funnels, cohort analysis, and retention curves. You define metrics before building, not after.
- AI-native: You use tools like Cursor and Bolt to prototype and ship faster, stay deeply plugged into AI research and emergent applications, and think actively about how LLM-driven discovery channels change what's possible for Truemed's growth surface.
- Marketing partnership fluency: You've operated at the product/marketing interface -- shared metrics, divided ownership, made marketers faster without absorbing their function.
- Bias for action: You move from idea to experiment to shipped product in days, not weeks. You conduct user research and dig into feedback to uncover pain points before committing resources, and you proactively identify problems without waiting for direction.
