Data Scientist (Philippines)

As a Data Scientist, you will support data and analytics initiatives by translating business requirements into analytical models and actionable insights. You will work closely with data engineers and stakeholders to leverage curated data marts and datasets, enabling informed decision-making and business intelligence outcomes.

What You’ll Do and How You’ll Succeed

• Engage with business and technical stakeholders to understand analytical requirements and align on expected outcomes
• Translate business objectives into clearly defined analytical use cases that support decision-making
• Perform data analysis using curated data marts to generate meaningful insights
• Develop analytical models and outputs aligned with business rules and reporting requirements
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data availability, integrity, and appropriate data structures
• Document methodologies, assumptions, and analytical outputs to ensure transparency and reusability
• Support knowledge transfer and handover activities to ensure continuity with client teams

Experience

• You have proven experience working as a Data Scientist in enterprise environments
• You have experience working with structured data platforms and data marts

Technical Expertise

• You have strong capabilities in data analysis and modelling
• You are able to translate business requirements into analytical outputs
• You have familiarity with Azure-based data environments as an advantage
• You have exposure to SAP or Snowflake-based datasets as an advantage

• You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• You collaborate effectively with data engineering teams and stakeholders
• You communicate insights clearly through structured documentation and presentations on-making
