Job Description

Globe Telecom, the Philippines' leading telecommunications company, is seeking a talented Data Scientist to join our Credit Risk Management & Finance AI Department. This role offers the opportunity to drive data-driven insights and develop advanced machine learning solutions that directly impact our portfolio performance and business strategy across our diverse services.

Key Responsibilities

Portfolio Analytics & Insights

• Analyze complex datasets across consumer, enterprise, and corporate portfolios to generate actionable business insights
• Develop comprehensive reporting frameworks to monitor and ensure achievement of portfolio quality targets
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate analytical findings into strategic recommendations
• Design and implement advanced statistical models to assess portfolio performance and risk metrics

Machine Learning & AI Model Development

• Build, train, and deploy machine learning and deep learning models for portfolio classification and segmentation
• Develop predictive models to enhance credit risk assessment and customer behavior analysis
• Implement end-to-end ML pipelines from data preprocessing to model deployment and monitoring
• Research and integrate cutting-edge AI techniques to solve complex business challenges

Marketing Campaign Analytics

• Conduct comprehensive post-campaign analysis to measure effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives
• Analyze campaign performance decay patterns and temporal effectiveness trends
• Develop models to understand campaign impact degradation over time and across customer segments
• Create executive-level dashboards and presentations to communicate campaign insights

Technical Innovation

• Stay current with emerging trends in data science, machine learning, and artificial intelligence
• Prototype and evaluate new analytical tools and methodologies
• Contribute to the development of our AI/ML infrastructure and best practices
• Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and technical discussions within the team

Required Qualifications

Technical Skills

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related quantitative field
• Advanced proficiency in Python programming with strong experience in data science libraries (pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/PyTorch)
• Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and deep learning architectures
• Experience with data visualization tools and techniques for presenting complex analytical results
• Familiarity with SQL databases and data warehousing concepts
