🔍 What we are looking for

The Product Team at Smartex is driving the transformation of the textile industry through AI-powered fabric inspection. Our mission is to help manufacturers reduce waste, improve margins, and enable Digital Quality Control at scale: building a world where every meter of fabric is inspected automatically and intelligently.

As we scale, we are looking for a Product Manager to turn strategy into execution and measurable impact across our AI, hardware, and software ecosystem. We’re seeking a motivated and impact-driven professional with 3–6+ years of Product Management experience (preferably in B2B SaaS, AI, deep-tech, or industrial environments). This is a high-impact role in a fast-growing deep-tech startup, ideal for someone who thrives in clarity, autonomy, and execution.

👇Responsibilities

  • Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap aligned with company objectives.
  • Translate company strategy into actionable product roadmaps that balance innovation, scalability, and reliability.
  • Own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery and continuous improvement.
  • Lead structured product discovery, validate customer problems, define success metrics, and ensure measurable outcomes.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Work closely with Engineering, QA, DevOps, and Design teams to translate business and customer requirements into clear product specifications, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Prioritize effectively based on impact and feasibility.
  • Balance business impact, customer value, technical feasibility, and strategic alignment when making prioritization decisions.
  • Gather and analyze user feedback, usage data, and market insights.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Customer Success to incorporate field feedback and continuously refine product direction.
  • Define and track key product metrics (KPIs).
  • Measure product performance, adoption, and impact — ensuring our solutions stop defective fabric as early as possible in production.
  • Ensure timely and high-quality product releases.
  • Actively participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives, ensuring smooth execution and accountability.
  • Act as the main point of contact between technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Drive alignment, clarity, and transparent communication across departments.
  • Support go-to-market efforts and customer adoption.
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure successful launches and strong product adoption.
  • Continuously improve product processes.
  • Contribute to building a more structured, scalable product execution model, improving documentation standards and discovery practices.

🛠️ Skills & Experience

  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Product Manager, preferably in B2B SaaS, AI-driven, deep-tech, or industrial technology environments.
  • Proven experience shipping impactful features and delivering measurable outcomes.
  • Experience working closely with software development teams (Frontend, Backend, DevOps, QA).
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or Scrumban).
  • Strong prioritization skills and structured thinking.
  • Experience writing clear product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
  • Data-informed decision-making and strong analytical skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguity within a fast-growing startup environment.
  • High ownership mindset with strong accountability and bias for action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Nice to have:
  • Experience with AI/ML-driven or data-intensive products.
  • Experience with hardware-software integrated systems.
  • Exposure to manufacturing, IoT, or industrial environments.
