We’re looking for a curious, ambitious, and technically strong AI Agent Developer to bring intelligent automation to life across our business. You’ll be part of a cross-functional AI team working closely with Product and IT, which reports directly to the Chief Digital Officer (CDO), and by extension, fully aligned with our executive strategy through the Co-CEOs.

In this role, you'll play a leading part in the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI agents, focused on both conversational and functional tasks. You’ll be responsible for translating operational needs into scalable agentic systems that solve real problems, improve the customer experience, and create tangible value for the business.

Mission: Design, build, and scale robust and explainable AI agents that empower our teams and optimise customer interaction, directly contributing to the goals of scaling, customer experience improvement, and innovation defined in Heymondo's AI strategy.

Key activities / responsibilities to perform:

• Design, develop, and implement AI agents using specialised frameworks like Agent Development Kit, AWS Strands, LangChain or other Generative AI stacks.
• Ensure the quality and traceability of models, applying MLOps/LLMOps principles for continuous deployment and monitoring, as defined in the AI Strategy.
• Connect AI agents with the company's transactional systems and internal platforms to enable workflow automation, and seamless embedding of agents into processes.
• Work on preparing data and documents (RAG strategies, model fine-tuning) to nourish Heymondo's specific use cases.
• Program the business logic of agents predominantly in Python.
• Apply expertise in effective prompting to optimise agent interaction and performance, ensuring accurate responses aligned with the brand's voice.
• Collaborate on the documentation and registration of AI solutions, ensuring compliance with ethical use policies, bias mitigation, and explainability, applying necessary guardrails in our agents.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in the development and production deployment of conversational and/or functional AI agents.
• Advanced proficiency in Python and experience with agent development frameworks (e.g., LangChain, ADK, AWS Strands).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and MLOps/LLMOps practices.
• Strong capability in Prompt Engineering and orchestrating complex flows.
• Knowledge of governance, ethics, and security principles in AI development.
• Ability to collaborate with business and product teams to translate high-level requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong communicator, comfortable tailoring messages to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong sense of ownership and proactivity to drive AI projects from start to finish, through design to production.
• Solid critical thinking skills to solve complex agent and system orchestration problems in constantly changing environments.
• Continuous Learning Mindset and adaptability to the rapid evolution of the Generative AI ecosystem and its frameworks.

• 100% Remote (we have a very nice office right next to Torre Agbar in Barcelona in case you want to work from there too)

Must reside in Spain with valid documentation to work.
