We are seeking an experienced AI Engineer Coach to guide students and early-career professionals in successfully transitioning into AI Engineering roles. The coach will provide structured mentorship on technical skill development, project building, resume positioning, interview preparation, and industry navigation within AI/ML fields.

Key Responsibilities

• Technical Skill Coaching
• Guide students through core AI/ML knowledge:
• Machine Learning (Supervised/Unsupervised Learning)
• Deep Learning (CNNs, RNNs, Transformers)
• NLP / LLM applications
• Computer Vision (if applicable)
• Support hands-on learning in:
• Python
• PyTorch / TensorFlow
• Scikit-learn
• SQL
• Model deployment (FastAPI, Flask, Docker, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Provide structured roadmap from beginner to job-ready AI Engineer
• Project & Portfolio Development
• Help students design real-world, job-relevant AI projects
• Guide end-to-end model lifecycle:
• Problem framing
• Data preprocessing
• Model training & evaluation
• Deployment
• Ensure GitHub portfolio meets recruiter standards
• Train students on technical storytelling for projects
• Resume & Positioning Strategy
• Optimize resumes for AI Engineer roles
• Translate academic/research experience into industry impact
• Align student profiles with:
• AI Engineer
• ML Engineer
• Applied Scientist
• GenAI Engineer
• Improve LinkedIn positioning
• Interview Preparation
• Conduct mock technical interviews:
• ML fundamentals
• Coding (Python, LeetCode medium level)
• System design for ML
• Model debugging & case studies
• Prepare students for:
• Behavioral interviews
• Technical deep dives
• Take-home assignments
• Train whiteboarding and explanation clarity
• Career Strategy & Industry Insights
• Guide students on:
• Internship vs full-time pathways
• Startup vs Big Tech AI roles
• H1B-friendly employers (if applicable)
• Share current industry trends:
• LLM integration
• AI agents
• MLOps
• Production AI systems
  

Qualifications

Required:

• 3+ years experience as:
• AI Engineer / ML Engineer / Applied Scientist
• Strong foundation in:
• Machine Learning algorithms
• Deep Learning frameworks
• Data structures & algorithms
• Experience building and deploying production ML systems
• Strong communication and mentoring ability
  

Preferred

• Experience in Big Tech / AI startup
• Interview experience (as interviewer or candidate)
• Experience coaching or mentoring students
• Familiar with US AI job market trends
