We’re looking for a Lead Java Engineer to join our R&D team in Vienna (this is a firm requirement) and help build a new cloud product for continuous testing and intelligent automation.

About The Product
You’ll work on an enterprise integration testing platform for SAP Integration Suite.
- Connects to SAP CPI and records integration flows (iFlows)
- Compares outputs against baselines → acts as a CI/CD quality gate
- Includes record & replay, regression testing, test suites, multi-protocol support, and more
- Lead development of a cloud product
- Own the full development lifecycle (design → delivery)
- Drive architecture and technical decisions
- Promote and use AI-powered development tools (Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor)
- Ensure code quality, testing, and best practices
- Mentor engineers and act as a technical leader
What You Bring
- 6+ years in software engineering + 2+ years in a lead/senior role
- Strong Java (C#/.NET is a plus)
- Experience with cloud (AWS/Azure), APIs, scalable systems
- Strong focus on testing and code quality
- Experience with AI coding tools
- Good communication and ownership mindset
- Product with real impact in SAP ecosystem
- Influence architecture and engineering culture
- Work in an AI-driven engineering environment
- Multicultural team (Vienna / Prague / US) + hybrid setup
