Senior AI Engineer

We are looking for a highly skilled AI Developer with strong expertise in Python, Azure cloud services, and agentic AI frameworks to design and implement AI-driven solutions in pharmaceutical and manufacturing environments.
This role focuses on end-to-end AI development, integrating industrial data (SCADA, MES, Historians) with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS/GCP) while ensuring compliance with GxP and enterprise data governance standards.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy AI/ML solutions for pharmaceutical and manufacturing use cases
- Build end-to-end data pipelines (batch & real-time) from SCADA, MES, and historians to cloud platforms
- Implement agentic AI architectures and intelligent workflows
- Work with Azure services such as IoT Hub, Event Hub, and Stream Analytics
- Design scalable data models and schemas across SQL and NoSQL databases
- Ensure secure, reliable, and high-performance systems (AuthN/AuthZ, scalability, resilience)
- Develop and maintain technical documentation (architecture diagrams, workflows, specifications)
- Follow DevOps best practices including Git/GitHub, code reviews, and CI/CD pipelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders
Technical Requirements:
- Strong experience in Python development (mandatory)
- Hands-on experience in AI/ML development & agentic AI frameworks
- Expertise in Azure Cloud (IoT Hub, Event Hub, Stream Analytics)
- Experience with data engineering & streaming pipelines
- Knowledge of SCADA, MES, Industrial Historians
- Strong understanding of SQL & NoSQL databases and performance optimization
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Experience in authentication, authorization, and secure system design
- Proficiency in Git/GitHub and CI/CD practices
Additional Details:
- Experience in pharmaceutical, life sciences, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of OT–IT integration and Industry 4.0 concepts
- Familiarity with GxP compliance and regulated environments is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (CS, IT, Instrumentation, or related field) or equivalent experience
