Working within our Financial Infrastructure and Artificial Intelligence Office, you will be developing cutting-edge technology solutions that position Singapore as a global leader in financial innovation.
What You Will Be Working On
- Design and develop full-stack web applications using modern frontend (Angular/React) and backend technologies to support AI initiatives in financial services
- Build responsive user interfaces and robust backend services with secure APIs for high-performance financial applications
- Implement database solutions across RDBMS, NoSQL, and caching systems whilst maintaining financial sector security standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions
- Maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and testing of mission-critical applications
- Conduct code reviews, troubleshoot performance issues, and optimise applications to support MAS’ AI initiatives
- Work at the exciting intersection of AI, policy, and financial sector transformation, shaping the future of Singapore's financial landscape through cutting-edge technology initiatives
- Collaborate extensively with global leaders in finance and technology, gaining access to frontier learning experiences in a rapidly evolving environment

What We Are Looking For
- Minimum 5 years of full-stack development experience with ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams
- Proficiency in Angular and React frameworks for frontend development of financial technology applications
- Experience with popular backend frameworks such as Node.js (Express), Python (Django/Flask), Java (Spring Boot), or .NET Core
- Hands-on experience with RDBMS (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL), NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB), and caching systems (e.g., Redis)
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), Docker, container orchestration, and microservices architecture
- Previous experience in financial services, banking, insurance, or FinTech sectors
- Proven track record developing secure, internet-facing applications with user authentication systems
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices for regulated financial environments
- Experience with CI/CD processes, SQL optimisation, and database design for high-performance applications
- Proficiency with Git, automated testing frameworks, and performance optimisation techniques
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Familiarity with vector database technologies and AI/ML infrastructure
- Experience with Kubernetes for container orchestration in enterprise environments
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience working on AI implementation projects or digital transformation initiatives within financial institutions
- Experience in payments, capital markets, insurance or banking sectors
- Experience working in multicultural, international business environments
- Ability to work independently whilst collaborating effectively in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholder relationships
- Critical thinking skills and results-oriented mindset with focus on delivering high-quality outputs that drive meaningful impact for Singapore's financial sector
- Adaptability to work in a fast-paced, evolving regulatory environment with changing priorities and emerging technologies
