We are looking for an AI Engineer to join our team and help design, build, and deploy intelligent systems that solve real business problems for both internal and client-facing initiatives.

About the Role

As an AI Engineer at ZetaMinusOne, you will work across data, software, and machine learning to develop AI-powered applications and solutions. You will be responsible for building, testing, and improving models and intelligent workflows that can automate tasks, generate insights, and enhance decision-making.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working at the intersection of machine learning, software engineering, and innovation, and who is excited about applying AI in practical, scalable ways.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy AI and machine learning solutions for internal and client-facing projects
• Develop and optimize models for tasks such as prediction, classification, recommendation, automation, or generative AI use cases
• Work with structured and unstructured data to prepare datasets for model training and evaluation
• Build and maintain pipelines for training, testing, deployment, and monitoring of AI models
• Collaborate with engineers, product teams, and stakeholders to translate business needs into AI-driven solutions
• Evaluate model performance and continuously improve accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
• Integrate AI capabilities into applications, platforms, and business workflows
• Stay current with emerging AI tools, frameworks, and best practices

Qualifications

• Experience in AI engineering, machine learning engineering, data science, or a related role
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries such as scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar
• Experience building and deploying machine learning models in production environments
• Understanding of model evaluation, feature engineering, experimentation, and performance optimization
• Familiarity with APIs, backend systems, and software development best practices
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to explain technical concepts and model outputs to both technical and non-technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with LLMs, generative AI, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, or vector databases
• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices such as MLflow, Docker, Kubernetes, Airflow, or CI/CD
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Experience with data platforms such as Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift
• Knowledge of deployment frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or similar
• Consulting experience or experience supporting multiple clients/projects
• Familiarity with AI governance, model monitoring, and responsible AI practices
