Machine Learning Engineer (LLMs & Recommender Systems)

What you will do

• Design and build advanced recommendation systems that power personalized advertising experiences at scale.
• Develop and optimize models for click-through rate, conversion, and user engagement.
• Drive innovation in ranking systems, contextual personalization, and multi-objective optimization.
• Apply modern machine learning approaches including deep learning, graph models, and reinforcement learning.
• Lead the evolution of end-to-end recommendation pipelines (retrieval, ranking, post-auction optimization).
• Run and oversee A/B testing frameworks to evaluate performance and business impact.
• Collaborate with global teams across engineering, product, and research.
• Define long-term strategy for recommendation systems aligned with business growth.
• Translate cutting-edge research into scalable, production-ready solutions.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to technical leadership across teams.

What you bring

• 6+ years of experience building and deploying machine learning or recommendation systems at scale.
• Strong expertise in recommender systems (collaborative filtering, ranking, deep learning approaches).
• Experience developing predictive models (e.g., CTR, CVR, engagement) in production environments.
• Proficiency in PyTorch or TensorFlow and strong coding skills (Python preferred).
• Solid understanding of scalable system design, data pipelines, and real-time processing.
• Experience with end-to-end recommendation pipelines (retrieval, ranking, optimization).
• Knowledge of A/B testing and model evaluation in large-scale environments.
• Familiarity with advertising systems and multi-objective optimization is a plus.
• Exposure to advanced techniques (e.g., reinforcement learning, graph models, LLMs) is beneficial.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
