Operations Domain Product Manager (AMOS)

We’re currently working with a global aviation and transport technology organisation, they’re seeking an experienced Operations Domain Product Manager with strong AMOS platform expertise to support the evolution and optimisation of a critical maintenance and engineering systems landscape across multiple international operating companies.

This role sits within a product-led technology and architecture function and is responsible for the strategic ownership, roadmap development, operational stability, and continuous improvement of the AMOS maintenance platform.

You will work closely with operational stakeholders, architecture teams, engineering delivery functions, and service management teams to ensure the platform delivers measurable business value while supporting regulatory and operational requirements within a highly complex, safety-critical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop the AMOS product roadmap aligned with operational and technology strategy
• Manage and prioritise the AMOS product backlog across operational, technical, regulatory, and transformation requirements
• Partner with architecture and engineering teams to ensure platform alignment with enterprise standards and target-state architecture
• Act as the primary liaison between Operations, Maintenance, Technology, and Delivery teams
• Support agile and incremental delivery practices across platform enhancements and operational improvements
• Ensure platform stability, performance, compliance, and effective management of live-service operations
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimisation of operational maintenance processes
• Manage dependencies across integrations, platforms, and operational data flows

Required Experience

• Strong experience managing the AMOS platform
• Experience within aviation, engineering operations, MRO, asset-intensive, or safety-critical environments
• Strong understanding of product management, backlog prioritisation, and value-driven delivery
• Experience working across architecture, delivery, and operational business stakeholders
• Familiarity with agile / SAFe delivery environments
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Desirable

• Exposure to enterprise architecture governance models
• Experience supporting large-scale operational transformation programmes
• Understanding of cloud platform management and integrated operational systems
