Your 5 Strategic Pillars

  • Product Expertise & Technical Leadership
  • Range Management: Identify technical gaps, validate new Part Numbers (PN), and ensure maximum European car parc coverage.
  • Competitor Benchmark: Conduct deep-dive SWOT and technical benchmarks (products and services) to maintain Valeo’s edge.
  • Innovation Watch: Stay ahead of O.E. innovations and trends to adapt the portfolio.
  • Quality & Standards: Define the right positioning and validate technical data (test reports, dimensions) with Quality and R&D.
  • Project Management & Time-to-Market (TTM)
  • End-to-End Orchestration: Act as the project lead for all new product launches, ensuring all departments (Suppliers, Supply Chain, Legal) meet deadlines.
  • Data Integrity: Supply the initial technical data packages (TecDoc, OE cross-lists, images), define the cross-list of Valeo parts vs competitors and ensure "debranding" compliance.
  • Interface with Data Management team , you are responsible for securing data is updated in the various internal systems and external catalogues
  • Definition of Market Potential of new to range parts, sales forecast link to each product launch and the ABC matrix of new parts.
  • Sourcing Interface: Partner with Purchasing for supplier negotiations and define packaging standards to optimize costs and sales.
  • Master the Product Life Cycle (PLC): from initial launch to phase-out.
  • Market Intelligence & Strategic Planning
  • MTP Vision: Participate in the 5-Year Product Strategy within the Medium Term Plan (MTP) and Yearly Budget.
  • Product Service Plan (PSP): Deliver the roadmap for future services and product evolutions.
  • Business Intelligence: Act as the "In-House" reference for Business Groups and local Trade Marketing teams regarding market trends and needs.
  • Commercial Powerhouse & Promotion
  • Lead "Corrective Action Plans" (CAP) and support divisions in landing "Big Fish" (major key accounts).
  • Create sales pitches tailored to different European markets to support business acquisition.
  • Launch Kits: Prepare the "Go-to-Market" strategy with high-impact sales pitches and communication materials.
  • Market Animation: Design and lead European “Sell-in” and “Sell-out” promotions to boost sales.
  • Marketing Tools: Create digital/print content, physical POS, and represent Valeo at international trade shows and customer conventions.
  • Pricing & Profitability Governance
  • Pricing Strategy: Define pricing corridors and floor prices in cooperation with the pricing team
  • Margin Optimization: Negotiate prices with PG sales teams or Purchasing to secure target margins.
  • Performance Tracking: Carry out pricing and gross margin studies using internal BI tools to drive decision-making.

The Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Education: Master’s Degree from Business or Engineering School.
  • Experience: ~3 years in Trade Marketing or Product Management within a complex, multi-range environment.
  • International Mindset: You thrive in cross-cultural environments and are fluent in English.
  • Technical Edge: You are an Excel expert capable of synthesizing complex data into clear strategic views to drive decision-making.
  • Soft Skills: You are a Team Player with the "mobilizing" energy needed to influence stakeholders without direct hierarchical links.
