As a fast-growing company with strong SAP heritage, we help financial institutions modernize core banking and transaction banking systems. This role is designed as an entry point into SAP and banking technology — with structured onboarding, hands-on learning, and real project exposure from day one. Your Role You will join our engineering and delivery teams and be trained to become an ABAP developer within SAP’s banking environment. Learn and develop in ABAP (SAP’s core programming language) Support implementation and customization of SAP banking solutions (e.g. payments, core banking) Translate business and technical requirements into structured development tasks Collaborate with senior developers, functional consultants, and international teams Support testing, debugging, and optimization of SAP applications Gradually take ownership of development topics within client-facing projects
Requirements
We are hiring for potential, not finished expertise — but we are strict on fundamentals. Must-have: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Software Engineering or similar Solid foundation in at least one programming language (e.g. Java, Python, C++, ABAP) Strong understanding of programming logic (e.g. OOP basics, data structures, problem-solving) Advanced German (min. B2/C1) – you will work with German-speaking clients Advanced English skills Nice to have (not required): Internship or project experience in software development Exposure to SAP, ERP systems, or enterprise applications Interest in banking, finance, or large-scale systems What we expect (this is critical): Ability to learn fast and handle technical complexity Structured and analytical thinking Ownership mindset and reliability Willingness to work in a client-facing, international environment
