Responsibilities
Essential Functions:
- Build Mid to Long term strategy plan for Product Category and take ownership of executing strategy, go to market execution and profitably.
- Create and maintain product line-up and life cycle management, evaluate price positioning and determine if/when appropriate changes are required.
- Analyze P&L and set category budget, provide management reporting for spend, profit, share with fluctuation analysis and commentary.
- Continuously monitor Total Addressable Market and Market Share targets adapting strategy when necessary to achieve goals.
- Conduct weekly conference call with HQ teams sharing market insights and gaining global perspective and overall direction for the category. (Market / Competition /Product Planning).
- Prepare customer collaboration, market analysis, product research, competitive landscape snapshot, channel inventory analysis.
- Represent the category, along with Carrier and National Account Sales Team for partner meetings.
- Participating in end customer product presentations as needed.
- Responsible for creating and maintaining yearly forecasting and monthly forecast submission for the overall category, and presenting plan and strategy to executives.
- Responsible for providing daily direction to all staff by delegating and scheduling work to the assigned team, and monitors work completion and quality according to procedures and deadlines.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Demonstrated analytical skills – forecasting, operations, market research.
- Product management and lifecycle management.
- Market analysis and competitive intelligence.
