Software Engineer - Backend & Data

We are hiring a Software Engineer - Backend & Data to help design and implement the next iteration of the data pipeline, storage solutions, and APIs backing a high-traffic SaaS platform. The successful candidate will work with a high degree of autonomy in a remote, full-time contractor position.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of professional software engineering experience, specifically focused on backend development and ETL pipelines for web applications.
• Proven experience collecting, cleaning, structuring, and analyzing large, complex data sets.
• High proficiency in Python, Pandas, and SQL.
• Strong deductive reasoning and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to understand hierarchical data relationships and identify logic gaps.
• Self-starter mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently across different timescales.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
