The Lead Back-End Engineer will architect and build the data layer and core infrastructure for complex web applications, combining back-end expertise with front-end and UI requirements. The ideal candidate has strong architectural thinking, a solid grasp of modern web application ecosystems, and experience with Sanity.io, Node.js, Deno, or Bun, and TypeScript.
Requirements
- Define the back-end architecture, hosting approach, and overall development strategy for complex web applications.
- Lead CMS implementations and migrations, including content modeling and ETL process design.
- Design and maintain scalable REST and GraphQL services to support modern front-end experiences.
- Partner with DevOps teams to support infrastructure, environments, CI/CD pipelines, and hosting platforms.
- Own the server-side architecture, ensuring secure, high-performing, and scalable data delivery.
