CNS Healthcare is looking for a full-time Systems Administrator II to join our dynamic and fast-paced team. The Systems Administrator II provides technical expertise in agency-wide information systems, infrastructure and security administration. They actively maintain the agency’s business systems, local and wireless networks, and telecommunications. This includes high-availability, redundancy and disaster recovery.

Compensation Range

The compensation scale for this position is $57,800 - $78,200 annual salary and is based on non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience.

Essential Functions

  • Maintains security of networks and datacenters and safeguard from down-time including monitoring and applying regulatory best practices, such as HIPAA and NIST.
  • Maintains up to date Microsoft environment including system security, group policies, and services such as Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, RADIUS, DFS, and print servers.
  • Maintains up to date VMWare storage area networks, such as ESXi, Vcenter and VMs.
  • Maintains up to date ShoreTel VOIP communication systems and devices.
  • Maintains up to date Cisco and HP networking systems and devices.
  • Plans and implements network, communication and datacenter upgrades, maintenance fixes, and patches, including firmware and applications.
  • Maintains up to date system backups, restoration of backups, and disaster recovery.
  • Provides Onsite and remote support of scheduled/unscheduled technical activities through resolution.

  • None

Required Education, Skills And Experience

  • At least associates degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
  • At least 3-years working experience in similar function and role.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, professionally, and courteously
  • Ability to use discretion and judgmental when handling matters of a sensitive or confidential nature
  • Advanced time management, problem solving, customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced collaboration and team working skills.
  • Ability to be forward thinking and take initiative to accomplish goals and objectives of the department
  • Intermediate level experience with computers and Microsoft office products

Preferred Education, Skills, And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems or equivalent.
  • Certifications in technologies relating to job essential functions.

Additional Eligibility Requirements

  • Must have current valid and unrestricted state driver’s license
  • Must have insured vehicle available for work purposes
