Position Overview
This is a highly strategic role within the Enterprise, Indirect and EMEA sales organization, with full accountability for achieving order targets. As the Account Manager, you will manage relationships with key stakeholders, lead solution selling strategies, and collaborate across multiple business units to ensure the delivery of superior customer solutions.
You will work closely with product specialists to provide excellent technical support and develop strong, lasting relationships with both partners and end customers. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with proven industry experience, a strong commercial acumen, and the ability to manage complex sales cycles in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and profitability for both products and services within Austria.
- Secure Vertiv as the preferred partner by promoting our complete product and service portfolio.
- Build relationships with both partner customers and end customers across various industries.
- Develop and maintain a balanced sales pipeline, ensuring continuous project flow.
- Create and execute strategic plans to win key projects and grow relationships with partners.
- Lead commercial negotiations and coordinate with sales teams to close opportunities.
- Present Vertiv's capabilities to senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
- Proven experience in sales account management in an international environment.
- Strong knowledge of the Data Centre industry
- Knowledge of Cooling or UPS or AC power or Switch Gear Or Batteries
- Demonstrated success in managing sales, negotiations, and relationships with key customers.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to execute strategic plans.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English
- Occasional travel abroad may be required.
