With an established position in Germany and growing operations across Europe, this role will focus on building on existing strength while expanding into underdeveloped markets including France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Scandinavia.
This is a commercially focused, execution-led role operating at the intersection of sales and product — with full responsibility for account development, pricing strategy, and margin delivery in a fast-paced, volume-driven environment.
Drive revenue, negotiate commercial deals, and manage margin — directly impacting business performance and profitability.
About the Role
You will take ownership of commercial performance across European markets, with a strong focus on developing new business, strengthening key accounts, and expanding into new territories.
This is a hands-on role requiring both strategic thinking and execution, where your ability to open markets and deliver profitable growth will directly shape the European business.
Key Responsibilities
Commercial Ownership & Growth
- Drive revenue growth across Germany and wider European markets
- Identify and unlock new business opportunities across major retail groups
- Take ownership of commercial performance, including sales targets and margin delivery
Market Expansion (Core Focus)
- Build on an established presence in Germany
- Expand into underdeveloped markets including France, Spain, Italy, Netherlands and Scandinavia
- Develop and execute market entry and growth strategies across Europe
Account Development & Relationship Management
- Build and develop relationships with key retail partners (off-price, value and volume-led accounts)
- Strengthen existing accounts while opening new ones across Europe
- Lead commercial negotiations and trading discussions
Product & SMU Development
- Work closely with internal teams to develop SMU ranges tailored to customer requirements
- Align product offering with pricing targets, customer needs, and market demand
- Ensure commercial viability across product categories
Pricing, Margin & Commercial Strategy
- Own pricing strategy and margin delivery across European accounts
- Balance volume growth with profitability targets
- Drive commercially sound decision-making across all sales activity
Leadership & Collaboration
- Work closely with UK HQ and cross-functional teams
- Contribute to building and scaling the European commercial structure
- Potential to build and lead a regional team over time
About You
- Strong experience within off-price / wholesale apparel or consumer goods
- Proven track record of opening and scaling markets across Europe
- Strong network across German and wider European retail landscape
- Deep understanding of pricing, margin and volume-driven environments
- Experience working with SMU product development and cross-functional teams
- Hands-on commercial operator — comfortable building markets, not just managing
- Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to operate in a high-growth environment
