We’re looking for a Network Asset Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in managing and optimising our drinking water network assets.
You’ll be responsible for monitoring asset performance, shaping investment decisions, and ensuring the successful delivery of infrastructure and capital schemes—helping us maintain a resilient and efficient network.
What You'll Be Doing
- Monitor performance of Drinking Water Service assets and identify improvement opportunities
- Review and manage asset maintenance plans, preparing investment funding applications where required
- Support financial management across Opex, Capex and Totex budgets, ensuring alignment with targets
- Oversee delivery of developer and capital investment schemes
- Maintain accurate documentation in line with Quality Management Systems (QMS)
- Collaborate with planning teams to ensure appropriate resourcing levels
- Liaise with key stakeholders including developers, regulatory bodies, councils and community groups
- Provide support during emergency situations
- Lead and manage the AWS team, ensuring compliance and operational effectiveness
- Respond to technical enquiries and provide expert advice
- Deputise for the Area Operations Network Team Manager when required
Essential Skills And Experience
- Full UK driving licence
- Supervisory or management qualification (or equivalent experience)
- IOSH/NEBOSH qualification (or willingness to achieve)
- Proven experience in a customer service or commercial delivery environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work as part of a standby rota
