Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Student Support Officer role based in Perth, WA. The Student Support Officer will assist students by providing guidance and support during their educational journey, playing a critical role in helping them navigate both academic and administrative challenges. Daily tasks include managing student inquiries, offering customer service, coordinating orientation sessions, providing technical and emotional support, and assisting with administrative processes. This role also requires fostering a positive student experience and maintaining a welcoming and inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Customer Service abilities to interact with a diverse student population and address their needs diligently.
• Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively connect with students, faculty, and staff.
• Proven Analytical Skills to address and resolve student concerns and challenges in a logical and empathetic manner.
• Proficiency in Technical Support to assist students with basic academic systems and technology queries.
• Ability to work collaboratively and adapt within a dynamic educational environment.
• A background in education or experience in a student support role is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with RTO standards and compliance requirements is a plus.
