What you'll be doing;
- Applying engineering principles in the design, configuration and testing of integrated hardware–software systems.
- Supporting project planning, execution and technical delivery across small-to-medium scale engineering projects
- Electrical and control system design using tools such as AutoCAD Electrical and/or ePlan.
- Assisting in integration of embedded systems, instrumentation and control technologies.
- Commissioning and troubleshooting electromechanical and automation systems in lab and field environments Implementing and troubleshooting sensors, PLCs, communications protocols and embedded controllers.
- Conducting root-cause analysis across mechanical, electrical and software systems.
- Supporting customer installations and provide technical training where required.
- Analysing system performance data using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
- Producing high-quality engineering documentation including commissioning reports and user guides.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Control Systems Engineering.
- 3-5 years working experience in control systems, automation or embedded system integration.
- Proficiency in CAD-based electrical design tools (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, ePlan).
- Knowledge of PLCs, instrumentation, industrial networking and control system architecture.
- Experience commissioning and configuring hardware and software in industrial or field environments.
- Strong troubleshooting capability across electrical, software and control systems.
- Ability to analyse and visualise technical data.
- Strong communication skills and ability to engage with customers.
- Experience in multidisciplinary engineering environments and real-time monitoring systems will be highly regarded.
