This position requires regular local travel between properties and active participation in community networking opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic multi-property sales plans
- Prospect, qualify, and secure new corporate, government, and group accounts
- Build and maintain long-term client relationships
- Respond to RFPs, inbound sales inquiries, and leads promptly
- Conduct client meetings, property tours, and site visits
- Negotiate contracts, group blocks, and pricing agreements
- Track sales activity and performance using CRM systems
- Collaborate closely with General Managers and hotel operations teams
- Represent properties at local networking events, trade shows, and business organizations
- Identify market trends and new revenue opportunities
- Revenue growth across all assigned properties
- Increased market share
- Occupancy and ADR improvements
- New lead generation and account acquisition
- Conversion rates and client retention
- Brand visibility and community engagement
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Minimum 5 years of hotel or hospitality sales experience
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding sales goals
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities
- Experience with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to travel locally within the West Valley City market
- Experience with Hilton, Marriott, or similar hotel brands
- Multi-property or regional sales experience
- Established local business connections in the Utah market
- Self-motivated and highly organized
- Skilled at turning relationships into revenue
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
- Driven by performance goals and business growth
