Summary

The Regional Sales Manager is responsible for building and growing True House’s presence in the North Carolina market through new customer acquisition and ongoing account development. This role is designed as a hybrid of business development and account management, with a strong emphasis on revenue growth, margin discipline, and strategic market expansion.

The Regional Sales Manager will drive sales across loose lumber, trusses, wall panels, framing labor, and turnkey framing solutions. This individual will be responsible for developing builder relationships, expanding opportunities within the region, and positioning True House as a preferred partner in the residential homebuilding industry.


Primary Responsibilities

• Lead the development and expansion of the North Carolina market through proactive sales and business development efforts.

• Identify, pursue, and secure new builder relationships and strategic customer accounts.

• Drive revenue growth across product lines, including loose lumber, trusses, wall panels, framing labor, and turnkey framing packages.

• Maintain a strategic focus on selling turnkey framing solutions.

• Develop approximately one new customer per quarter through active prospecting, networking, and relationship building.

• Manage and grow existing customer relationships through expansion into new communities, subdivisions, and product offerings.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customers and maintain strong ongoing relationships with builders, purchasing teams, superintendents, and field personnel.

• Ensure all sales align with company pricing strategy and meet or exceed minimum margin requirements established by Senior Leadership.

• Maintain accountability for both top-line revenue growth and margin performance.

• Conduct regular jobsite visits, builder meetings, and customer touchpoints to strengthen relationships and support project execution.

• Assist in resolving customer concerns related to scheduling, materials, field coordination, and overall service delivery.

• Partner closely with estimating, design, scheduling, and operations teams to support successful onboarding and execution of new customers, communities, and projects.

• Serve as a visible leader in the market through active involvement in industry organizations, builder associations, trade events, and local networking opportunities.

• Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and customer needs to identify growth opportunities and strengthen market position.


Knowledge & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and industry experience.

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales, business development, building materials, construction, or a related industry.

• Experience working with homebuilders, framing contractors, or residential construction customers preferred.

• Working knowledge of construction materials, project cycles, and customer relationship management.

• Understanding of pricing, margin expectations, and sales performance measurement.

• Ability to identify opportunities, develop business, and close new accounts.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to balance revenue growth and margin discipline.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers, trade partners, and internal teams.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and customer relationships.

• Ability to work independently while maintaining strong internal collaboration.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

• Ability to travel regularly within the region and attend customer meetings, jobsite visits, and industry events.


This position has a base salary, plus earning potential based off of revenue and units sold, new business, and expansion of existing customers.
