As Account Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business and revenue growth across Singapore and Malaysia. You’ll proactively seek out new client opportunities, help shape winning proposals, and support the growth of existing accounts. This role is hands-on and externally focused — you should be confident in outreach, comfortable leading pitch efforts, and excited by the chase and close of new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
New Business Development
- Actively drive new business pipeline across SG & MY
- Identify, qualify, and pursue new leads — across events, brand experience, and integrated campaigns
- Tap into your own network and research to generate quality opportunities
- Collaborate with strategy and creative leads to shape and deliver compelling pitch proposals
- Lead and manage the proposal process — from first contact to final presentation
Client & Account Growth
- Support account teams in identifying upsell or cross-sell opportunities
- Spot growth areas within existing clients: new contacts, briefs, or business lines
- Support scoping and pricing discussions with commercial rigor and strategic insight
Relationship & Partnership Building
- Build strong relationships with prospects and clients, earning trust and credibility
- Represent amc asia’s capabilities clearly and confidently in meetings and pitches
- Partner with internal teams to ensure a smooth handover from pitch to delivery
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with creative, design, strategy, and delivery teams to craft winning solutions
- Provide input on pitch strategies, market insights, and client intelligence
- Contribute to internal BD reporting, insights, and knowledge sharing
What We’re Looking For
- 5–8 years’ experience in business development, brand experience or agency-side sales
- Strong hunter mentality — confident, proactive, and persistent in opening new doors
- Proven track record in winning business or significantly contributing to successful pitches
- Excellent communicator with strong presentation and negotiation skills
- Commercially sharp and strategically minded
- Collaborative, kind, and self-motivated — someone who thrives in a team setting
Bonus Points If You…
- Have a network across tech, finance, fintech, lifestyle or FMCG brands
- Have experience in Southeast Asia markets
- Have led or contributed to major pitches in experiential, events or integrated work
