Job Description
- Leverages cross-functional partnerships within AdventHealth to enhance event planning efficiency.
- Builds and fosters relationships with clients to identify their needs and ensure customer satisfaction through post-event surveys.
- Sources and manages hotels and venues for international guests, staff, VIPs, and attendees, negotiating rates and contracts, as well as airfare, ground transportation, local staffing, and local vendors.
- Books and coordinates arrivals and departures, meeting spaces with AV and F&B requirements, and social activities, including dinners and special events.
- Procures and organizes all vouchers, tickets, credentials, and itineraries for confirmed services.
- Develops measurement frameworks, tracks, and reports on KPIs for each event.
- Proposes new ideas to improve the event planning and implementation process.
- Negotiates with vendors to achieve the most favorable terms for goods and services.
- Co-manages vendor relationships, including agencies, vendors, and caterers.
- Requires three vendor quotes prior to selection and manages the preferred vendor list for the respective division.
- Acts as a subject matter expert on new event industry-related trends and the use of CVENT technologies (or other relatable technology) for event registration.
- Provides the Event Director with solutions to issues that arise in real-time.

- Experience with negotiating hotel/venue and vendor contracts [Required]
- Ability to interface with senior executives and VIPs [Required]
- Ability to work independently without supervision, be self-directed and demonstrate initiative [Required]
- Ability to be creative and innovative [Required]
- Flexible schedule and some travel required during certain time periods [Preferred]
- Ability to work collaboratively with others [Preferred]

- Bachelor's [Required]
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communication, Business and/or related field Required

Pay Range
$60,151.66 - $111,886.39
