200+ Employment Opportunities Available at IGNOU's Mega Campus Placement Drive

Over 200 job opportunities within the sectors of educational technology, hospitality, aviation and service, as well as non-governmental organisations (NGOs) are expected to be offered. The companies participating in this drive include the educational guidance platforms CollegeDekho and Sarrthi IAS, the destination marketing consultancy YS Hospitality, the aviation services provider Bird Worldwide Flight Services (BWFS), the services department under the partnership between the Confederation of Indian Industry and the university (CII-IGNOU), and the NGO Gupteshwar Samiti.

Education

CollegeDekho has 50 openings for the role of academic counsellor, with a compensation package comprising a total remuneration of ₹19,000 along with incentives. Sarrthi IAS has a total of 25 vacancies across positions in sales counseling, video editing, photography and graphic designing, with an annual salary ranging from ₹3,00,000 to ₹3,84,000. YS Hospitality requires a total of 4 candidates for the roles of sales and operations manager, and marketing and business development staff. The salary for the former position ranges from ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 while the same for the latter varies between ₹20,000 and ₹25,000. Both BWFS and CII-IGNOU have 50-60 vacancies for roles adjacent to customer service, with the former offering an annual remuneration of ₹3,60,000 and the latter paying a salary ranging from ₹26,000 to ₹35,000. Gupteshwar Samiti has 50 openings for training-focused opportunities that will earn a stipend of ₹6000 and will be provided free food and accommodation.

Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Education, Science, and Business Administration (B.A., B.Ed., B.Sc., B.BA.) as well as a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s in Commerce (B.Com, M.Com) are eligible to apply. Those with a Diploma and/or a Postgraduate (PG) Diploma in any stream may also register. Those students who are freshers, as well as those who either are in or have only recently passed their final semester are also eligible to apply

The skills required largely vary according to the offered job. However, good communication, high adaptability, creative insights, capacity for teamwork, temporal efficiency, and strong digital literacy will be given universal consideration.

Those interested are to submit a minimum of 2 copies of their updated resume, their government-issued ID and their IGNOU ID, passport-size photographs of themselves, their educational certificates, and any valid experience certificates.
