Position: Full Stack Engineer

Location: New York, NY (3 Days Onsite – Hybrid)

Duration: 12+ Months (with possible extension)

Pay Rate: $80-$90/hr. on W2 (Depending upon the experience)

Job Description:

Overview:

• Client Institutional Lending Tech team needs an experienced full stack developer to help build leading-edge and scalable systems to support multiple business verticals supporting origination, underwriting, asset management, business operations, market insights, loan pricing, and risk calculations.

Candidates Will Do in the Role:

• Design and develop a high-performance, scalable platform to support multiple Lending business lines.
• Develop and maintain reusable and testable backend and frontend components.
• Actively contributes to agile squad ceremonies and practices.
• Apply software engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards in all development activities.

Candidates Will Bring to the Role:

• 7 plus years of proven development experience in Java, Spring, restful micro-services
• 5 plus years of proven web-applications development experience in Angular, JS or TS, CSS and HTML
• Strong expertise in relational or document databases (Sybase, MongoDB, or similar)
• Experience in OOP concepts and design patterns
• Experience in working with modern code IDEs such as IntelliJ or VS Code
• Hands-on experience with AI developer productivity tooling (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amp, or similar)
• Understanding in relational or document databases (SQL, MongoDB or similar)
• Fluent in English with Excellent communication skills
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles and agile methodologies
