Founding Full Stack Engineer

Our client, a fully funded start-up is scaling up! We are searching for 4 Founding Full Stack Engineers to help build an AI-powered platform transforming a large legacy industry.

This is a true zero-to-one opportunity for engineers who want significant ownership, direct user exposure, and the chance to shape both product direction and engineering culture from the ground floor.

The company is backed by top-tier institutional investors and is actively scaling following recent strategic growth initiatives.

MUST HAVE FOUNDER OR FOUNDING ENGINEER EXPERIENCE AT A STARTUP From at least Series B Funding onward.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Work directly with end users to identify operational pain points and workflow inefficiencies
• Own projects end-to-end — from discovery and product thinking through deployment
• Build AI-enabled internal tools, automation systems, and platform infrastructure

Develop systems involving:

• LLM workflows
• RAG pipelines
• document intelligence
• browser automation
• structured knowledge systems
• API/data integrations
• Collaborate closely with founders and leadership on product strategy and technical direction
• Participate in onsite operational discovery work with customers and partners

What They’re Looking For

• 2–5 years of software engineering experience as a Founder or Founding Engineer
• Strong full-stack engineering capabilities
• Excellent product instincts and ability to operate in ambiguity
• Comfortable working directly with users and stakeholders
• Strong communication skills
• Genuine interest in applied AI systems and workflow automation
• High-agency mindset with startup-level ownership mentality

Preferred Background

Strong interest in candidates coming from:

• early-stage startups,
• customer-facing or forward-deployed engineering teams,
• AI infrastructure companies,
• workflow automation platforms,
• or operationally intensive industries.
