As we continue growing nationally, we are looking for a experienced training and performance leader who can help elevate and standardize onboarding, education, coaching, and operational development across the franchise network.


The Opportunity


We are hiring a Corporate Director of Training & Franchise Performance to lead onboarding, training development, field coaching, sales education, and ongoing franchise performance initiatives across the Spartan network.


This is not a traditional “sales trainer” role.


We are looking for someone who has experience building and leading structured corporate training initiatives within fast-paced, performance-driven organizations. The ideal candidate understands how to develop people, create scalable systems, drive accountability, and improve execution across multiple locations and teams.


This role requires a unique balance of:

  • Corporate training leadership
  • Franchise support and coaching
  • Sales and operational development
  • Field execution
  • Strategic thinking and hands-on implementation


You will work directly with franchise owners, leadership teams, sales reps, and operational staff to strengthen performance, improve consistency, and help support the next phase of Spartan’s growth nationwide.


Key Responsibilities
Franchise Onboarding & New Owner Development


  • Lead and facilitate onboarding programs for new franchise owners and their teams
  • Develop structured onboarding roadmaps, launch plans, and training initiatives
  • Ensure new franchise locations are operationally and commercially prepared for launch
  • Reinforce Spartan systems, customer experience standards, sales processes, and operational expectations
  • Conduct both classroom-style and hands-on field training


Training Program Development & Education Systems


  • Build, improve, and scale training programs across sales, operations, leadership, customer experience, and franchise performance
  • Develop onboarding materials, SOPs, playbooks, presentations, accountability systems, and training resources
  • Create scalable systems for virtual training, in-person workshops, ongoing education, and performance reinforcement
  • Standardize best practices and training structures across the franchise network
  • Support the continued development of Spartan University and internal education platforms
Corporate Training & Conference Leadership
  • Lead corporate training sessions, workshops, bootcamps, and franchise conference presentations
  • Facilitate engaging, high-impact training for franchise owners, sales teams, installers, and operational staff
  • Deliver training that is practical, results-driven, and focused on execution—not just theory
  • Support company-wide initiatives focused on growth, accountability, operational consistency, and leadership development


Field Coaching & Performance Development
  • Travel to franchise locations to work directly alongside owners and teams in the field
  • Observe in-home sales appointments, operational workflows, and customer interactions
  • Deliver real-time coaching, accountability, and performance improvement strategies
  • Identify operational, sales, communication, or leadership gaps and implement actionable solutions
  • Support franchisees in improving close rates, average ticket, operational execution, customer experience, and overall business performance


Franchise Performance & Leadership Support
  • Serve as a trusted performance partner to franchise owners and leadership
  • Reinforce KPI tracking, CRM discipline, reporting standards, communication expectations, and operational consistency
  • Partner with executive leadership to improve systems, processes, and franchise support initiatives
  • Help foster a high-performance culture built around accountability, execution, leadership, and continuous improvement


What We’re Looking For


Experience


  • 5+ years of experience in a similar corporate training, franchise training, learning & development, or sales performance leadership role
  • Proven experience developing onboarding, training, and performance programs across multiple teams or locations
  • Strong background facilitating corporate training sessions, workshops, conferences, and field coaching initiatives
  • Experience building scalable systems focused on accountability, adoption, and performance improvement
  • Experience supporting franchise systems or multi-location operations is highly preferred
  • Home services industry background preferred (flooring, coatings, roofing, remodeling, HVAC, construction, restoration, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of in-home sales processes, customer experience, and field execution

  • Organized, process-oriented, and capable of building scalable training structures and standards
  • Comfortable leading training sessions ranging from one-on-one coaching to large group and conference-style presentations
  • Ability to thrive in an environment focused on growth, performance, accountability, and continuous improvement

Travel Expectations
  • Approximately 40–50% travel required
