We’re seeking a future team member for the role of
Vice President, Full-Stack Engineer
to join our
Wealth Service Platform
team. This role is located in
New York, NY. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of full stack applications aligned with business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, operations, and security to deliver innovative solutions.
- Drive best practices in coding, testing, and deployment to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Participate in architectural decisions and contribute to technology strategy.
- Participating in code reviews and assisting in debugging efforts.
- Ensure applications meet security, compliance, and performance standards.
- Manage project timelines and deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders to meet business objectives.
- Continuously contributing directly to the success of project deliverables.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 7-9 years of experience in full stack software development required
- Extensive experience in full stack development with proficiency in modern front-end frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, Vue) and back-end technologies (e.g., Java, Spring Framework, Oracle, SQL).
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, cloud platforms, and DevOps practices.
- Proven leadership experience in software development projects within a financial services environment is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $80,000 and $180,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
