Full Stack Engineer

TypeScript | FinTech | Billing, Payments, AI Systems
Recruiting Partner: Lovefreedom Solution
Lovefreedom Solution is partnering with a fast-growing, venture-backed fintech company to identify a high-impact Full-Stack Engineer who can own core product development across billing, payments, collections, integrations, and AI-powered workflows.
This is not a narrow engineering seat where you wait for tickets and disappear into the background. This is a true ownership role for an engineer who wants to build production systems that customers actually pay for, move quickly, make architectural decisions, and help shape the foundation of a company scaling at serious speed.
The company recently raised its Series A and is growing rapidly to meet increasing customer demand. With proven founders, strong customer traction, and a massive market opportunity in B2B payments, this is a compelling opportunity for someone who wants early-stage impact with real business urgency behind the product.
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
This company is operating with strong momentum and a large market in front of it.
The founder has already built and sold a prior company for $100M+ to a Fortune 500 company, bringing repeat-founder experience and strong execution discipline to the business.
The company has 50+ customers, significant runway, and is building in the massive B2B payments market, where unpaid invoices and cash-flow delays create trillions of dollars in business friction every year.
This is a strong fit for an engineer who wants startup speed, deep product ownership, and the chance to build systems tied directly to revenue.
What You Will Do
As a Full-Stack Engineer, you will own and ship core product features end-to-end across the platform. You will work across the database, backend, API layer, frontend, integrations, and AI systems that power the customer experience.
You will be responsible for building and improving systems related to:
- Billing infrastructure
- Payment workflows
- Collections automation
- Revenue reporting
- Customer-facing product features
- Third-party integrations
- AI-native workflows and agentic automation
Core Responsibilities
In This Role, You Will
- Build and ship full-stack product features from concept to production
- Own database schema design, APIs, backend logic, and frontend user experiences
- Develop systems that handle real money, including billing engines, payment integrations, collections workflows, and financial reporting
- Make thoughtful technical tradeoffs in a fast-moving startup environment
- Write clean, scalable, production-grade TypeScript across the stack
- Build AI into the product as a core platform capability, not as an afterthought
- Use LLMs and AI tools to accelerate engineering output and improve workflows
- Drive technical direction within your area of ownership
- Improve engineering patterns, tooling, testing, and platform reliability
- Work closely with founders, product, customers, and the engineering team to ship quickly and intelligently
Qualified Candidates Should Have
- 4+ years of experience shipping production products or features
- Strong full-stack engineering experience
- Deep TypeScript fluency across backend and frontend development
- Experience building and shipping full-stack features end-to-end
- Experience working in a VC-backed startup or a fast-paced, high-caliber technology environment
- Strong product judgment and comfort making architectural decisions
- Ability to operate with autonomy, speed, and ownership
- Experience building reliable systems that customers depend on
- Strong communication skills and ability to work directly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Founding engineer or early-stage startup experience
- Experience with billing, payments, collections, fintech, or financial systems
- Experience at a reputable fast-paced company such as Meta, Databricks, or a similar high-performance engineering environment
- Degree from a top computer science program
- Experience building AI-native product workflows, LLM-enabled systems, agents, or automation tools
The ideal candidate is a builder.
You are someone who can take a vague product problem, clarify the technical path, build the system, ship it, and keep improving it. You do not need excessive structure to move forward. You can make smart decisions quickly, communicate tradeoffs clearly, and understand that in an early-stage company, speed and quality both matter.
You care about clean code because you have seen what happens when teams do not. You move fast, but you do not create chaos. You are comfortable owning meaningful pieces of the platform and being accountable for outcomes, not just tasks.
This role is best suited for someone who wants to be close to the customer, close to the revenue, and close to the architecture.
Why Candidates Should Be Interested
This is a rare opportunity to join a company with the ingredients that strong engineers look for:
- Recently raised Series A
- Proven repeat founder with a prior $100M+ exit
- Strong customer traction with 50+ customers
- Capital-efficient growth and meaningful runway
- Large B2B payments market opportunity
- High ownership from day one
- Real product complexity across payments, billing, collections, and AI
- Direct impact on revenue and customer outcomes
