Summary

The Loveless Cafe is seeking an experienced graphic designer, photographer, and videographer to create promotional materials for the Cafe, Shops, and Loveless Events. In addition, this position should have excellent a knack for social media, video editing for social media, and strong attention to detail. This role is traditionally Monday through Friday, except for specific weeks we have events or photoshoots outside of normal business hours. In that case, we will implement an alternate schedule as to not exceed your 40 hours.

Responsibilities

- Design and manage the production of print and digital materials, including but not limited to:

o Cafe menu, inserts, placemats, table tents, bulletins, posters, banners

o Retail product labels, in-store pricing, online and POS promotions

o Loveless Events sales pieces, catering guides, menu cards, signage

o Print and social media advertisements

o Retail and Events email marketing

o Social Media promotions

o Website features

o Print catalog, direct mailings

- Photograph and edit a variety of subjects, including Cafe dishes, Retail products, events in the Barn, the Harpeth Room and offsite, interior/exterior atmosphere, portraits, and more

- Adhere to the Loveless Cafe Style Guide to make sure designs are always on-brand

- Work closely with the Marketing Manager and other departments to anticipate needs and meet deadlines

- Analyze content performance and make suggestions to improve results

- Keep digital files well organized

Qualifications

- Minimum 2-5 years proven graphic design experience

- Advanced understanding of Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop

- Excellent photography skills; examples preferred

- Social Media experience with an understanding of current and upcoming trends (includes Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, LinkedIn)

- Basic HTML knowledge a plus

- Video production experience a plus

- Writing skills a plus

- Strong attention to detail and organization

- Positive, enthusiastic, outgoing attitude

- Self-starter willing to present new design concepts while staying on-brand

- Excellent written and oral communication skills
