Senior Full Stack Engineer (Node&React)

Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and dedicated Senior Full Stack Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will design, develop, and deliver features across the full stack while utilizing an "AI-first" engineering approach to streamline implementation, debugging, and refactoring for a recent series A funded fintech client based in the US.

Responsibilities

• Modernize the existing code base
• Own end-to-end reliability, including incident leadership, root cause analysis (RCA), and implementing preventive measures for critical systems outage
• Collaborate with the team to improve the functionality and performance of existing applications
• Ensure clean code and scalability
• Actively leverage AI tools to accelerate scaffolding, unit test generation, and bug tracing
• Actively participate in all stages of the SDLC

Requirements

• Solid experience in web application development using React, Node.js and Typescript
• Experience in managing and designing RDBMS databases (PostgreSQL)
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices (OWASP), data encryption (PGP), security protocols (mTLS), and identity protocols (OAuth 2.0)
• Knowledge of financial messaging standard (ISO 20022) and secure file transfer protocols (SFTP)
• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Experience working with live systems and existing clients
• Nice to have: Experience with AWS native services like ECS, RDS, Cognito

Qualifications

• Minimum of 10 years of experience in full stack web development
• Prior experience working in or integrating with financial services, banking, or payment gateways
