The position of Account/ Territory Manager focuses on growing the business and expanding the relationships with SBM customers in Pune.



About the Role -

Account/ Territory Manager – UPS Global Freight Forwarding (UPS SCS India): Pune.



Account/ Territory Manager is responsible for the acquisition of new and developing small and medium customers with the main objective of Revenue, Volume, and Gross Profit Growth by delivering sustainable Supply Chain Solutions. As an Account/ Territory Manager at UPS SCS you’re responsible for achieving the assigned sales plan. You’ll analyze customers’ current supply chain needs to create appropriate solutions. This involves strategy sessions with your Area Sales Manager (ASM), sales team colleagues and networking with decision makers. Are you ready to take on this challenge?



Responsibilities



  • Build successful partnerships with key stakeholders at all levels of customers’ organizations to cultivate relationships and generate revenue opportunities across all FF products and service lines.
  • Present solutions to customers to gain approval of proposals and move forward with the sales process.
  • Sell technology solutions (Flex Global View) to customers to secure their business, provide added value to proposals, and satisfy business needs.
  • Work accurately on the book of business (e.g., air, ocean, brokerage, ground, etc.) to grow and execute against the business plan.


Qualifications



  • Minimum a Bachelor’s Degree in any stream.


Required Skills



  • Sales and/or customer service experience in Freight Forwarding.
  • Excellent Communications skills both oral and in writing.
  • A pro-active, sales-driven, and positive mindset.
  • Punctuality and the ability to understand the bigger picture: you’re able to build bridges to all departments in order to strengthen the cooperation.
