About the Opportunity

We are seeking a driven and collaborative Business Development & Account Manager to help grow our presence in the industrial wastewater solutions market. This role is focused on lead generation, client engagement, and developing new business opportunities with industrial and municipal customers.

You will play a key role in shaping relationships, identifying opportunities, and guiding prospects through the early stages of the sales cycle. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic environment where their contributions directly impact business growth and direction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute a structured lead generation strategy to identify new business opportunities
  • Develop and deliver high-impact presentations to stakeholders across all levels, including executive leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project management, leadership) to develop solutions and proposals
  • Build strong relationships with prospects throughout the early stages of the sales cycle
  • Identify target accounts, partners, and opportunities aligned with company capabilities
  • Manage multiple opportunities simultaneously and maintain a healthy sales pipeline
  • Track activity and performance through CRM systems and reporting tools
  • Provide consistent updates on pipeline status, progress, and results
  • Travel to client facilities as needed

Required Experience & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Minimum 5+ years of sales experience in industrial wastewater or water treatment
  • Experience selling into industrial manufacturing facilities with wastewater permitting requirements (e.g., pretreatment or discharge permits)
  • Ability to engage and sell to multiple stakeholders, including:
    • Environmental/Safety Managers
    • Engineering & Plant Leadership
    • Executive-level decision-makers (C-suite)
  • Proven success managing the full sales cycle
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed revenue targets
  • Experience with CRM systems, forecasting, and reporting
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
