Business Analyst (Healthcare / Medicaid)

About the Role

This role supports a multi-year enterprise modernization program, focused on transforming legacy systems into scalable, flexible, and innovative platforms. You’ll act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and IT teams, ensuring business needs are translated into effective technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a bridge between business and IT teams
• Analyze current business processes and identify improvement opportunities
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical specifications
• Support business process redesign and system integration efforts
• Lead workshops, design sessions, and cross-functional meetings
• Coordinate across multiple projects and stakeholders
• Monitor KPIs and ensure alignment with project goals
• Facilitate issue resolution and ensure timely delivery of solutions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in commercial healthcare
• 3+ years of experience with State Medicaid systems
• 3+ years familiarity with MITA frameworks
• 6+ years working with data structures, EDI, and file formats
• 6+ years of experience in business analysis and process improvement
• Experience supporting cross-functional, enterprise-level initiatives

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in large-scale business & technology integration projects
• Knowledge of federal certification processes
• Background in project management
