About the Role
We are looking for a motivated IT Support Engineer to join our support team. This is an entry-level opportunity for individuals interested in starting a career in IT and technical support. Training and guidance will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide basic technical support to users
- Assist with hardware and software setup
- Troubleshoot simple IT issues
- Support password resets and account access
- Install and update software applications
- Maintain accurate support records and tickets
- Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of computers and IT systems
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Willingness to learn and grow in IT support
- Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools
- Internship or academic IT project experience is a plus
- CompTIA A+ certification (preferred but not mandatory)
